About us
Two people, a small trailer, and the long way around
Learn about our journey, our trailer setup, and our mission to inspire connection through travel.
Who we are
A husband-and-wife team roaming North America in a small travel trailer
Our goal is to show what life looks like when your vacation home has wheels — connection with each other, nature, and the communities we visit.
In practice that means slow mornings at a campground table, long drives with an audio book making the drive shorter, and the small routines that make a small trailer like our R-Pod RP153 feel like it is everything you need. We're not chasing a checklist of parks. We're chasing the feeling of arriving somewhere new with everything we need behind us.
If you're thinking about small-trailer life — or you're already out here — we hope what we share makes it feel more possible.

What we're after
Three things we keep coming back to
Connection
The best thing about a small trailer is that there's nowhere to hide. Dinner turns into a conversation, and that's the whole point.
Nature first
We plan around trailheads, quiet campgrounds and weather we can sit in — not around how a photo will turn out.
The communities in between
Small towns, camp stores, and the people who tell us where to eat. The map matters less than who's on it.

The rig
A 153-series trailer and a Subaru Ascent
Small enough to park anywhere, big enough for two people, a dinette and a real kitchen.
Stay connected
