I use these on the back of the trailer where my entrance is located. They are so great at coming on when I need light or if someone gets too close. Three Optional Modes 1.Motion Sensor Light Mode (The lights will go off at night when no motion is detected; when it detects motion the step lights stay on at high brightness for 15 seconds and then go off) 2. Permanent On Mode (the lights turn on automatically at night and stay on at 10% brightness for 8 hours). 3. Smart Brightness Control Mode (when no motion is detected, the light stays slightly bright all night; when motion is detected, the motion sensor adjusts the light to stay on high for 15 seconds, then back to stay slightly bright)
What we like
- Really lights up the area around the back door.
- The solar batteries last about 3 years which I have tested at home on my fence.
Worth knowing
- I need to figure out how to not blind someone while driving if I ever venture out at night.
